Lemonade

I drank a lemonade
at a Thurston Moore and Friends show
May 2 at Union Pool

So close to summer
that one turns to three
in diner stools over coffee after

Then, one again
because it’s not quite
summer, yet

Thirty-two grams of sugar
in that lemonade.
